A native of Carencro, Louisiana, Marc Broussard was born on January 14, 1982. Son of guitarist Ted Broussard, a member of The Boogie Kings, he began his solo career in 2002 with the album Momentary Setback, before signing with Island Records for the follow-up Carencro (2004), whose video for the second single "Home" recounts the devastating passage of Hurricane Katrina. Invited to compilations in honor of Bruce Springsteen in 2003, Randy Newman in 2006 and Fats Domino in 2007, the guitarist produced the first part of a series, S.O.S.: Save Our Soul, in which he covers soul classi...
