Opera tenor Marc Hervieux was born in Montreal, Canada on June 19, 1969. Over
the course of his career, his fame has spread from his Canadian homeland to
Europe, the United States and beyond. While best known for his operatic
performances and recordings, he has dabbled in other genres including pop and
jazz vocal standards, Christmas, and musicals. He developed an interest in opera
through watching television programs hosted by singer/actor Yoland Guérard.
