Marcelo Jeneci (April 7, 1982) is a Brazilian singer-songwriter and accordionist from São Paulo. He received his first music lessons from his father, who worked repairing musical instruments and electronic equipment. After kicking off his career in the early aughts as an accordionist for MPB legends Chico César, Arnaldo Antunes, and Erasmo Carlos, Marcelo Jeneci made his official debut with the 2008 single “Amado.” A collaboration with singer Vanessa da Mata, the track was featured on the soundtrack of the soap opera A Favorita.
