Masashi Sada (さだ まさし, Sada Masashi, born 10 April 1952 in Nagasaki) is a
Japanese singer, lyricist, composer, novelist, actor, and film producer who cut
his teeth as one half of folk duo Grape with Masami Yoshida in 1972. After
securing a number two hit in Japan with the self-composed "Shourou Nagashi"
(精霊流し) (1974) and racking up a string of other hit singles, the pair parted ways
two years later and Masashi Sada launched his solo career with debut album
