Mat Bastard
Real name Mathieu-Emmanuel Monnaert, Mat Bastard was born on November 7, 1979 in
Brussels, Belgium. His first band was Carving. A figurehead of the punk scene in
northern France, he went on to lead Skip the Use, a band that gave him the
opportunity to express his stage potential. Exuberant and unbridled, the band
likes to mix their pop, rock, electro, funk and rock influences with a punk
energy. After playing a number of gigs, including support slots for Trust and
