Russian conductor Maxim Emelyanychev studied his craft with Gennady
Rozhdestvensky at Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory. He quickly made a name for
himself and began collaborating with Joyce DiDonato, Xavier Sabata, Richard
Goode and Alexei Lubimov on recordings and performances.
2016 saw Emelyanychev collaborate once more with Joyce DiDonato on 'In War and
Peace - Harmony Through Music', winning a Gramophone Award for the album. He has
