Mayday Parade
Rock band Mayday Parade were formed in Tallahassee, Florida in 2005 and were
created out of two local bands called Kid Named Chicago and Defining Moment,
both of whom decided to merge after hearing each other practice when they shared
rehearsal studios. The new band created a lot of interest and when their
independent debut EP 'Tales Told By Dead Friends' was released in 2006 it
eventually sold 50,000 copies without any record company support, an impressive
figure for an independently funded EP.
