A French rapper, Mayo (who hides his true identity behind this pseudonym) spent a few years in his native Congo before settling in Stains, Seine-Saint-Denis. He made his appearance on the French rap scene in 2018 as a guest on a Fianso track,"Vif", included on the album 93 Empire. He then released his debut album two years later. Tout pour Nous attracts attention thanks to the names of its collaborators: Kaaris, Alkpote and Franglish. This gave him the credibility he needed to develop the album Yoski in 2021.
