Joris van Rossem, known professionally as Metejoor, was born in Duffel, Belgium
on 4 January 1991 and raised in the town of Vosselaar. Thanks to a fortuitous
meeting with producer Hans Francken at The Voice of Flanders, on which his
sister Lisa was performing as a contestant, he was soon drawn into the world of
music and signed a recording contract with Dutch/Belgium label CNR Records. He
