Michael Hirte, born on October 10, 1964 in Spremberg, is a German harmonica
player. He became famous after winning the second season of the RTL casting show
Das Supertalent in 2008. Hirte plays instrumental music that can mainly be
classified as folk music and pop. His interpretations of well-known melodies on
the harmonica are characterized by a soulful and melancholy style of playing.
His debut album Der Mann mit der Mundharmonika was released in December 2008 and
