Michael Ray Roach (April 29, 1988), or simply Michael Ray, is an American
country music singer-songwriter. Born in Eustis, Florida, he was heavily
inspired by his grandfather, musician Amos “Wilson” Roach, who taught him how to
play guitar. After graduating high school, he formed a band and independently
released an album in 2010, something that led to his discovery by future manager
Tony Conway. In the following years, Michael Ray won the reality music contest
