Greek-Cypriot singer-songwriter Michalis Hatzigiannis (born on November 5, 1978)
cut his teeth as a musician aged 17, participating in a number of performances
for Eurovision qualifiers. In May 1998, Hatzigiannis represented Cyprus in the
Eurovision Song Contest and performed his self-penned song "Γένεσις" (Genesis).
In Athens, his 1998 soundtrack collaboration "Aggigma Psychis” with lyricist
Mihalis Bourboulis and composer Giorgos Hatzinasios was certified platinum and
