Ministère A.M.E.R.
Ministère A.M.E.R., a short-lived yet influential group in French rap, was one
of the major representatives of the first wave (late 80s/early 90s) alongside
IAM and Suprême NTM, but their trajectory was very different from that of their
peers. Scandalized for their provocative lyrics (the sulphurous "Sacrifice de
poulets", "Brigitte, femme de flic"), which got them into trouble, the group
then saw its members launch solo careers as variety rappers.
