Moderat is a band from Germany founded in 2002, consisting of the musician Apparat and the DJ duo Modeselektor. Musically, Moderat play electronic music and minimal techno. their debut EP Auf Kosten Der Gesundheit was released in 2003. The electro band's first official album, Moderat, did not follow until 2009. With the album II, Moderat achieved their first chart entry in Germany in 2013, reaching number 10.
