Mortelle Adèle is a humorous comic strip for young people created in 2012 by
cartoonist Antoine Dole, who works under the pseudonym Mr Tan. The first volumes
were illustrated by Miss Prickly, and subsequent ones by Diane Le Feyer. The
heroine is a little girl named Adèle, with a very strong character. Her author
imagined her as a reaction to the bullying he experienced at school in his
youth. The comic became a popular success, regularly ranking among the
