Mot
Mot (못) is a South Korean rock band formed in 1996, originally as a one-man
project by Eaeon. The band's name is derived from the Korean word for "pond"
(연못). Eaeon sought like-minded musicians through an online post in 2001, leading
to the addition of guitarist Z.EE, transforming Mot into a duo. Influenced by
bands like Portishead, Radiohead, and Smashing Pumpkins, Mot's music blends
elements of rock, jazz, electronica, and trip hop. Their debut album Non-Linear
(비선형), released in 2004, was critically acclaimed and ranked 59th in Kyunghyang
