A British singer-songwriter of Irish and Barbadian descent on her mother's side
and Turkish on her father's, Nilüfer Yanya was born on May 11, 1995 and grew up
in London, where she trained as a classical pianist before turning to electric
guitar with her teacher Dave Okumu. Influenced by alternative rock, she performs
