Quebec rock band founded in 1993 in Saint-Georges de Beauce, composed of
Jean-François Bernatchez, Jean-François Dubé, Martin Roby, Michelle Lambert and
Samuel Busque. Noir Silence took part in their first competition, Cégeps rock,
in 1993. The band won second place and the prize for best French-language
composition. Following this, the band released a 2,000-copy self-titled EP. They
then took part in the Empire des futures and Cégeps en spectacle competitions.
Their self-titled debut album is released in 1995, with the hit " On jase de toi
". It went on to win three Félix awards...
