Originally called À la recherche de la nouvelle star in its first season in
2003, Nouvelle Star is certainly the show of its kind that has revealed the most
talent. Since the first winner Jonatan Cerrada, there have been, in
chronological order, Steeve Estatof, Myriam Abel, Christophe Willem, Julien
Doré, Amandine Bourgeois, Soan, Luce and Sophie-Tith. Among those who didn't win
" Nouvelle star " but took advantage of its spotlight to launch a career are
Amel Bent, Ycare, Gaetane Abrial, Melissa Nkonda and Camélia Jordana.
