Nubiyan Twist
Founded in Leeds, England by guitarist / producer Tom Excell, Nubiyan Twist is a
musical collective that blends afrobeat, jazz, reggae, hip-hop, soul, Latin
music, dance, and world music into their own unique style. As a live act, the
band is a 10 to 12-piece ensemble incorporating two vocalists, a four-piece horn
section, a driving international rhythm section, and electronics. Their
recordings have featured guest appearances from Mulatu Astatke, Tony Allen, and
others. Nubiyan Twist released their critically acclaimed self-titled debut
