Born on 15 July 1990, in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, UK singer, actor and
LGBTQIA+ activist Olly Alexander first gained recognition as the lead vocalist
of the synth-pop trio Years & Years with whom he scored two chart-topping UK
albums. In 2021, he achieved critical acclaim for his role as Ritchie Toze in
the hit Channel 4 series It's a Sin, nominated for Best Actor in a
Movie/Miniseries at the Critics' Choice Television Awards and for Best Actor at
the British Academy Television Awards. Years & Years parted ways in December
2023 and their back catalogue has since been re-listed...
