Growing up listening to pirate radio stations in Streatham, South London, Steve
Bishop heard the underground sounds of UK garage, drum & bass and house and
started his path as a DJ at the tender age of 13. Spending his lunch money on
records and taking the name DJ Oneman, he fell deep into the world of warehouse
raves, independent record shops and mixtape culture and worked in the mailroom
at Warner Bros before landing his own show on influential radio station Rinse FM
