OV7 is a popular and long-running pop music group from Mexico. Formed in 1989
under the name La Onda Vaselina, the group initially comprised child members and
was inspired by the 1980s pop group Timbiriche. Led by Mexican singer and
producer Julissa, they made an early impact with their debut album La Onda
Vaselina (1989), featuring hits like "Que Buen Reventón" and "Que Triste Es el
Primer Adios." Their subsequent albums Onda Vaselina, Vol. 2 (1991) and Dulces
Para Ti (1992) solidified their popularity in Mexico. They rebranded to Onda
