Peppertones are a music duo from South Korea that blends K-pop with rock and
electronic music. Formed in 2003 by college students Shin “Sayo” Jae-pyung and
Lee “Noshel” Jang-won, they rapidly made their debut in 2004 with the EP A
Preview. Prior to that, the band had already become quite popular in the
independent music scene by performing in several venues and clubs in the Hongdae
area. Their proper studio debut Colorful Express arrived in 2005 and spawned the
