Peter Orloff (born March 12, 1944 in Lemgo) is a pop singer, composer,
songwriter and music producer from Germany. Born Pyotr Nikolayevich von Orlov,
he is the child of a German mother and a Russian nobleman. His Russian father in
particular had a decisive influence on his later musical career. He founded the
Black Sea Cossack Choir in the 1930s. His son Peter Orloff also joined the choir
ensemble in 1958. The artist began his solo career in the music business in the
