Pieces of a Dream were part of the Philly soul phenomenon in the 1980s and are
best known for their hit single 'Fo-Fi-Fo' which made the US top 20 in 1983. The
slick, Grover Washington-produced track was a radio friendly recording and it
established the band into what is now commonly referred to as the smooth jazz
genre. The hit single was the culmination of six years of hard work by founding
members Cedric Napoleon on bass, drummer Curtis Harmon and keyboard player James
Lloyd.
