Portrait is an R&B vocal quartet from the United States. The group, founded in
the early 1990s, includes singers Michael Angel Saulsberry, Eric Kirkland,
Irving Washington III and Phillip Johnson. The group's first single, "Here We Go
Again", released in 1992, was a critical and commercial success in the New Jack
Swing style of the time. It was followed in 1993 by "Honey Dip". Portrait split
up in 1995, just after the release of the album All That Matters, which featured
a cover of The Bee Gees hit "How Deep Is Your Love", which reached number 93 on
the Billboard Hot 100.
