Prophets of Rage
Prophets of Rage are a rap rock supergroup formed in 2016 by former members of
the bands Rage Against the Machine, Audioslave, Public Enemy and Cypress Hill.
The band were formed against the backdrop of a controversial election year in
American politics and this provided an ideal opportunity to promote their brand
of rap-orientated protest songs.
Guitarist Tom Morello has well known political views and the release of the
band's first single, 'Prophets of Rage' was timed to coincide with a protest gig
