Robert Bradley's Blackwater Surprise is an American band formed in 1994 in
Detroit, Michigan. The band was born from the encounter between Robert Bradley,
a blind street singer from Alabama, and three rock musicians: brothers Michael
and Andrew Nehra (on guitar and bass respectively) and drummer Jeff Fowlkes, all
three from Second Self. This unlikely collaboration gave birth to a unique
fusion of soul, blues, rock and R&B, marked by Bradley's powerful, emotive
voice, at work on five studio albums: the homonymous debut released on RCA in
1996, followed by Time to Discover (2000), ...
