Roman Lob
Roman Lob was born on July 2, 1990 in Cologne and grew up in Rott, a district of
Neustadt (Wied). His musical journey began at an early age when he learned to
play the piano from his grandfather, who worked as a church organist. He later
added guitar and bass to his skills. As a teenager, he was already active in
various bands, including the metalcore group Days of Despite and the project
Three of a Kind. His breakthrough came in 2012 when he won the German casting
show Unser Star für Baku and represented Germany at the Eurovision Song Contest
2012 in Baku with the song "Standing...
