Trained at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique in Paris and noticed by Lionel Belmondo, saxophonist Samy Thiébault released his first opus Blues for Nel in 2004. His next, Gaya Scienza (2007), was produced as a quintet. Upanishad Experiences (2010) features an expanded line-up with Jackie Berroyer as narrator. Three years later, it's Clear Fire's turn to impress the critics.
