Sarah Slean is a Canadian singer, songwriter and pianist. A precocious artist,
she was classically trained and released her first songs on two self-produced
albums in 1998. Her pop-rock album Day One (2004) brought her well-deserved
success, particularly in France, where she moved to write The Baroness, released
in 2008. Slean has also made a name for herself in film, in a bespoke role as a
cabaret singer (2005), in the graphic arts and finally in poetry.
