Hailing from the austere Cévennes region of France, Selma has established
herself as a strong new voice on the French female rap scene. The young woman of
Kabyle origin worked on her flow and lyrics for several years before moving to
Paris. Her work has enabled her to impose a new voice, a real personality, on an
increasingly demanding female rap scene. Her tracks "Jamais sans mon mec" and
"Petite soeur" are featured on her debut album La Rose du Sahara.
