Shabba Ranks
Along with Shaggy, Shabba Ranks is one of the main protagonists of
first-generation commercial dancehall. His biggest hit, "Mr. Loverman ", toured
the world in 1992, reaching No. 3 in the UK and No. 19 in France. His 1993 album
X-tra Naked won the Grammy Award for Best Reggae Album. Prolific in the 90s,
Shabba Ranks has kept a low profile since the turn of the millennium.
