Sleeping at Last is an alternative-rock project spearheaded by Ryan O'Neal.
Launched in 1999 in the Chicago suburb of Wheaton, Illinois, Sleeping at Last
was originally formed as a three-piece band, with bass guitarist Dan Perdue and
drummer Chad O'Neal joining O'Neal. The group's independently-released debut,
Capture, arrived in 2000 and earned attention for hometown hero Billy Corgan,
best known for his work with The Smashing Pumpkins. With Corgan serving as the
band's mentor and champion, Sleeping at Last signed with Interscope Records and
