Winner of the 7th edition of the French TV show Nouvelle Star, Soan, born Julien
Decroix on May 4 1981 in Annemasse, France, embodies the image of the rebel punk
singer, somewhere between Georges Brassens, Noir Désir and Sid Vicious. From the
corridors of the metro to his debut album Tant Pis (2009), the trajectory of
this tattooed, pierced and make-up-wearing singer has been meteoric. The mixed
success of his debut album didn't discourage Soan, who showed his true
