Born Joseph Anthony Somers-Morales on September 11, 1987, in Austin, Texas, US,
contemporary R&B and pop-rap artist SoMo dropped a mashup of Drake's Take Care
in 2011 that lit up the Internet and paved the way for his debut mixtape, My
Life, in 2013. Setting out his R&B and pop songwriter stall with the
well-received release, he followed the mixtape with his self-titled debut album
in 2014. Produced by Mick Schultz and Cody Tarpley, SoMo went to Number 6 on the
