SONBEST is a French rapper from Colmar. He made his debut in 2018 with a debut
EP entitled Immersion, now unavailable on platforms. He gradually made a name
for himself with his Grind Mode series of freestyles (including the tracks
"Grind Mode", "Phantom" and "Magic"), where the outlines of his style were
already taking shape: a mix of cloud rap and melancholy trap. On June 12, 2020,
SONBEST gained notoriety with his EP Lotus, supported by the track "XO" and its
