A double bassist trained at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Paris, Stéphane Kerecki (b. 1970) joined Steve Potts' orchestra before forming his own trio and recording a series of albums that have been acclaimed by the press and the profession, including Focus Dance (2007), Houria (2009) and Sound Architects (2012, with Tony Malaby and Bojan Z). Meanwhile, Patience is the fruit of a duet with pianist John Taylor. The British pianist is also a guest on Nouvelle Vague (2014), celebrating soundtrack themes alongside Fabrice Moreau, Emile Parisien and Jeanne Added.
