Born on April 10th, 1989 near the Swedish border and raised in Oulu, Finnish
singer-songwriter and chorist Suvi Teräsniska was scouted aged just sixteen by
Jussi Rasinkangas, under whose tutelage she quickly landed a record deal with
the Helsinki Music Company, a subsidiary of Warner Music. After a brief spell as
a backing singer for rock band Yö, she released her debut single, “Sanoja vaan”,
