R&B and pop singer/songwriter Sybil – born on December 9, 1966, in Peterson, New Jersey – is best known for a string of hits and albums in the late 1980s and early 1990s. She signed with the then-popular Next Plateau Records in 1986 and quickly released her debut single “Falling in Love”, which reached Number 29 on Billboard’s R&B Singles chart. Her debut album, Let Yourself Go, was released in 1987 and charted in the Top 100 in the UK. The title track reached the Top 50 on the U.S. R&B chart.
