Founded in Detroit, Michigan in 1994, The Detroit Cobras was a garage rock band
founded by Rachel Nagy (vocals/piano) and Mary Ramirez (guitar). Nagy and
Ramirez were the only constant members, running through nearly a dozen
guitarists, bassists, and drummers over the course of their 28-year career.
Although the group released several albums and singles on a variety of labels,
their repertoire consisted of primarily cover versions of 1960s garage rock
