L.A.-based quartet The Interrupters formed in 2011 and is comprised of vocalist
Amie Allen and brothers Kevin, Justin, and Jesse Bivona. The band was inspired
by the late 1970s 2-Tone movement and the ska punk scene of the ‘90s. Allen had
already achieved some success as a solo artist with her albums I’d Start a
Revolution If I Could Get Up in the Morning (2003) and A Little Happiness
(2009). Her other credits include collaborations and session work with
