American folk-rock trio from Denver, Colorado, The Lumineers was formed in the early 2000s. It comprises Jeremiah Fraites (drums) and Wesley Keith Schultz (vocals, guitar). It wasn't until 2009, however, that they released their first EP, followed by 2012's homonymous debut album (No. 2), which brought the band international attention, notably with the single "Ho Hey" (No. 3), used in Michel Gondry's film L'Écume des jours .
