The Valentines are best remembered not only for charting two Top 40 hits in
Australia during the late 1960s, but also for serving as an incubator for
AC/DC's future frontman, Bon Scott, as well as Divinyls' future manager, Vince
Lovegrove. The group formed in Perth, Australia, in 1966 and moved to Melbourne
one year later. The Valentine's debut single, "Every Day I Have to Cry," was
released in 1967 and reached Number 76 on the Australian charts, with the
