The Voidz is an experimental rock band founded in 2013 by singer, songwriter,
and musician Julian Casablancas, who had first come to prominence as lead singer
of The Strokes. Formed during a break with his main band, The Voidz was formed
so Casablancas could pursue his more experimental and less commercial side. The
group has also featured musicians that he had performed with during his solo
forays: Jeramy ‘Beardo’ Gritter (guitar), Amier Yaghmai (guitar), Jacob ‘Jake’
Bercovici (bass), Alex Carapetis (drums), and Jeff Kite (keyboards). The group
