The second hip-hop signing to Sub Pop, Nirvana's legendary label,
THEESatisfaction is a duo of female rappers and singers from Seattle. Stasia
Irons and Catherine Harris-White met while studying together in 2006. After much
experimentation, they formed THEESatisfaction in 2008 and released two
self-produced EPs, Transitions in November 2010 and Sandra Bollock Black Baby in
March 2011. Spotted by Shabazz Palaces, a rap group from Seattle's burgeoning
creative scene, they took part in the recording of Black UP in June 2011. The
