Tift Merritt is a singer-songwriter who burst onto the American country-folk
scene with her debut solo album Bramble Rose in 2002. Since then, she has
pursued an impeccable career, acclaimed by her peers and critics alike. Her
fourth studio album, 2010's See You On The Moon, is just as acclaimed as 2002's
Bramble Rose and 2004's classic Tambourine. After Traveling Alone (2012), Tift
Merritt teamed up with classical pianist Simone Dinnerstein for the covers album
Night, released the following year by the classical division of the Sony label.
