Timmy Trumpet
The Australian DJ and producer Timmy Trumpet was born Timothy Smith in 1982. As
a young teenager he attended the Sydney Conservatorium of Music where he studied
the trumpet. Following an incident at the school he left and went into
Australia's state education system which enabled him to become more involved
with jazz music. He turned professional in 2005 and has built a reputation
around his unique style which combines house with jazz trumpet playing.
He is now ranked as Australian's number one DJ and performs upwards of 200 dates
