Formed in 2019 in Texas, country-rock band Treaty Oak Revival draws its
inspiration from the "red dirt" current, which it revives through its albums,
among other influences such as 1970s Southern rock, 1980s cowpunk alternative
country and 1990s grunge. After a self-released debut album in 2021, No Vacancy,
the Texas quintet returned in 2023 with Have a Nice Day, which topped the
Billboard Heatseekers, the antechamber to the Billboard 200. The following year
saw the release of the single "Happy Face", which became a prolonged viral hit
in the country and alternative rock charts.
